The Fort Greene Chapter, NSDAR, was organized December 3, 1896.

Our members live in a number of Brooklyn neighborhoods, including Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, and Windsor Terrace, to name a few. We are actively seeking new members and have evening meetings to better accommodate working women. If you are interested in applying to join our chapter, please click here.

Do you have a Revolutionary War patriot in your family tree?
The DAR Genealogical Research System (GRS) is a system of databases containing names of Revolutionary War patriots, both men and women, whose service (between 1775 and 1783) has been established by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR).

Visit the NSDAR website or New York State Organization website for more information.
